President: Troy Pappas
Troy led the team that invented the MerchantsBay® patent-pending negotiation technology.
Previously the CEO of a specialty hospital in suburban Philadelphia, he has over twenty years of experience in business development, operations, marketing and public relations. Troy has held management positions with Blue Cross Blue Shield, US Healthcare and Sandoz.
He is also an Adjunct Professor of Business Information Systems at the Philadelphia University School of Business Administration. Troy has lectured at the Brown University Graduate School of Computer Science, the Rutgers University School of Business and Internet World Chicago. His work has been featured in the Expert's Opinion section of Information Resources Management Journal and the current edition of System Analysis and Design (Kendall and Kendall, Prentice Hall, 2002). Numerous media outlets including ABC News, NBC News, The Providence Journal Bulletin, The Philadelphia Inquirer and GQ Magazine have produced stories about Troy and MerchantsBay. In 2000, Troy was awarded the first Cyber Partner Award from Goodwill Industries.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and his Master’s degree from Yale University. Troy is the Vice President of Mt. Laurel (NJ) Library Board of Trustees.
